We have some phenomenal musicians in the orchestra. Here’s one!

Justin Taylor is a vibrant and involved violinist in the Magic Valley community. He started on violin when he was 10 years old and has continued studying privately since. Justin’s teachers include Dr. Paul Pugh, Mrs. Deana Christensen, Jolene Hobson, and Dr. Hyeri Choi, the professor of violin performance at Idaho State University.

Over the years Justin has collected numerous awards and scholarships most notably including Don Royster memorial and Carol Badger memorial scholarships, first place in the 2021 Idaho State Violin Competition, and repetitive first place awards the past 4 years in local and district festivals.

Justin is very passionate about the place music has in this community and is excited to share one of his favorite concertos with the Magic Philharmonic Orchestra.

Justin will be featured while playing the Violin Concerto Opt. 14 by Samuel Barber. Come experience his hard work on April 8!

thanks! i'll be in touch shortly.
